Public transport!

And another thing! Its the first time I've used the train to get to work today and the bloody train is cancelled! Surprise, surprise! And there was a rather smelly drunk man on it (at 9am)! Another reason for not using public transport!

Car trouble!

My poor car is still foxing the mechanics at the garage! They have tried various parts and still cant get it too work. Apparently the guy in the workshop is 'pulling his hair out'! At least its under warranty.

Bloody pigeons!

The pigeons are becoming much braver! They have been trying to eat our grass seed since it was sown. You used to be able to just go to the window and they would fly off, but now you have to go out there and shoo them away! Im going to have to get a water pistol soon! The grass is coming along nicely by the way!

Lawnwatch!

As if our site wasn't dull and boring enough already, we now bring you Lawnwatch. You too can now share in the experience that is the growth of our grass seed. In the box on the right of this page you will see the latest photo from our back garden, it all looks very green, I think Kate photographed the best bit but even so - look we've grown something. I can feel my fingers turning green...

The grass has grown!

Okay its very short so far but green is showing! Its so exciting! Well for us that is! It may seem a little sad to other people but we've never grown something like this before! Stay tuned for updates on how long it has got!

Shes Really Not Joking About the Twiglets

Kate wasn't joking when she mentioned about complaining to customer services about the lack of Twiglets in our local Tescos - she gave the poor old cashier an earful, but had calmed down slightly by the time we passed the customer services desk on the way out.
Those of you who know how chilled out and relaxed Katy normally is would be amazed at the way she screws up her little face and stomps he feet when greeted with row upon row of empty shelf space where Twiglets should be. In fact the only other thing to get Kate as angry is congestion charging...

I have twiglets!

Just been to tescos and bought 3 packets of twiglets! I think they just dont provide enough shelf space for them, so they are all gone by the evening! But I have them now. So everything is okay!

Tesco Rage!

Last night we went to Tescos to get a few things and yet again they didn't have any Twiglets or Phillios Fogg nachos! Aaaaaaagh! This is really starting to piss me off as they haven't had any for the last 2 weeks! I am debating whether to ignore my embarassment and go to the customer services desk and complain but would that seem petty? Perhaps I should just go to Sainsburys! But they didnt have any twiglets either! Is there a twiglet shortage? The girl on the till said they'd get more nearer christmas! Its not good enough! Well thats that out of my system!

Another nice AA man!

My car is now in the garage once again! The car decided to stop accelerating on St. Peter's Way this morning, which is a bit hairy on a dual carriageway! Managed to coast into a layby though! Another nice AA man came to my rescue once again! ( I have called the AA out about 3 times last year because of my old car!) Hopefully the garage might be able to fix it this time. My poor baby!

Back again!

Sorry we've been away so long. But we're back now! Yippee!
Well you missed Jo's wedding back in August which was a great knees-up! I think I was on the dancefloor all night apart from stopping occasionally for a top up!
We've also been doing some work on the garden, of which there will be some photos shortly. We (well Duncan) shovelled 6 tonnes of dirt into the back garden (me with my wheelbarrowing skills!). This was to level the lawn and re-seed it. Now we are just waiting for it to grow!
I'm sure there is more stuff I've forgotten but we'll add some more soon!
